If you could choose which option grabbed your attention more

Which would you choose? Reading or watching?

Statistics show that video tends to win out over text in a majority of cases.

For starters, 90% of information transmitted from the brain is visual, and visuals are processed 60,000x faster in the brain than text (Zabisco).

Forrester Research said that a single minute of video is worth about 1.8 million words.

Consulting firm, Insivia, found that viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video compared to 10% when reading it in text.

So, if video beats text almost every time, how can you use it in your marketing strategy?

1. Use animated quotes on social media rather than static image or text quotes.

2. Make use of interesting logo animation to introduce your brand online and in presentations rather than a static image.

3. Replace chunky text on your website with short videos that explain your ideas and showcase your products or services.

Video is effective, it commands our attention.
