DIGITAL MEDIA DESIGNER
(Full-time)

Job Responsibilities

These tasks cover the major day-to-day activities for digital media designers:

  • Conceptualize visually appealing graphics based on requirements

  • Manage clients’ social media accounts, eg. create content, grow followers, engage with & respond to followers, generate monthly reports

  • Design & manage websites, particularly Wix websites

  • Create eye-catching animations for social media, TV & billboards

  • Liaise with clients, eg. conduct client meetings, send emails, make phone calls

*On-the-job training provided where needed.

Job Requirements

The following skills/traits are non-negotiable:

  • Strong portfolio of graphics or illustration

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (will be judged by submitted portfolio)

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (will be judged by submitted portfolio)

  • A keen eye for aesthetics & details (will be judged by submitted portfolio)

  • Passion for design & digital media

  • Excellent customer service skills and a pleasant attitude

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 

  • Excellent Team Player

  • Able to meet & surpass deadlines due to advanced time management skills

  • Able to think critically & solve problems efficiently 

  • Able to learn quickly and on-the-go

  • Must be able to work in-office at our Kingston, Jamaica location

Job Preferences

The following are not required but may give you an edge in our selection (listed in order of importance):

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and/or other animation software

  • Proficient in website design, particularly Wix

  • Proficient in copywriting, specifically for websites & social media 

  • Proficient in photography and/or videography 

  • Proficient in video editing

  • Previous experience in the digital media industry

  • Previous experience in social media management

  • Formal training in digital media

  • Written/Video Review from past employer(s)

 

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
(Full-time)
Submission Deadline: November 12, 2021

Job Responsibilities

These tasks cover the major day-to-day activities for the Administrative Officer:

  • Manage the front desk

  • Greet and direct visitors, answer phone inquiries & handle complaints in a courteous, professional manner

  • Maintain team calendars and schedule appointments

  • Manage follow-up calls & emails with clients & suppliers, as needed

  • Manage office supplies, stock and place orders

*On-the-job training provided where needed.

Job Requirements

The following skills/traits are non-negotiable:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a pleasant attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize

  • Excellent Team Player

  • Able to think critically & solve problems efficiently 

  • Able to learn quickly and on-the-go

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in-office at our Kingston, Jamaica location

  • Previous experience in the customer service industry

  • Previous experience in the digital media industry

  • Proficient in makeup artistry
